The Hydro-Mist has two highly specialized carbon cartridges through which the water is percolated very slowly. This slow upward flow of the contaminated water through the carbon cartridges allows for the absorption of solvent molecules. The purified water is then “misted” to the atmosphere.
Kleen-Rite recommends replacing the carbon cartridges, Part Number 002226, every 3 months.
